This Seconds-Old Baby Chameleon Still Not Realized He's Out Of His Egg

 Chameleons are one of the most  fascinating creatures. They are very well known for their ability to change skin color according to the surrounding  and blend in. 

Have you ever think of  How they look like before hatching from their eggs? With the help of these amazing photos, now we can understand how these beautiful reptiles develop within egg.

These photos were taken just after the baby Panther chameleon comes out of the egg. This particular chameleon had to be helped out of its egg by a breeder in Pennsylvania because it failed to "pip" properly. Pipping is when reptiles or birds use their egg teeth to break out of their shells. The baby chameleon is now safe and comfortable with its siblings.

"He needed some help getting out of the egg. It would not be possible for him to do it on his own as it didn’t pip correctly so I helped him out."

When the egg pips on the side, it can be difficult for the fetus to push out since their heads aren’t close to the hole. I’ve actually seen them push out other parts of their bodies, including their yoke sac, which ended up killing them.”

These photos provide a rare glimpse into chameleon life's early stages. when baby grows inside the egg,  the  coloration develops, which helps it blend in with its environment once it hatches. this  skill of camouflage and  blend in to its environment helps them to hide from predators and survive in the wild.

Chameleons are also interesting creatures because they are born with all their characteristics and abilities intact. This means that they don't have to learn how to change color or use their long, sticky tongues to catch insects - they instinctively know how to do these things from birth.


Besides their amazing skin color changing ability, chameleons are also known for their unique behavior. Generally, they live alone, and they are quite territorial creatures. some of their species have up to 10 years of lifespans in wild, considerably its a long lifespan


This amazing picture of a baby Panther chameleon just a moment after it comes out from the  egg gives us a glimpse into the fascinating world of these beautiful reptiles. It is so rewarding to study their development at the very beginning, and we should continue to cherish and protect these incredible creatures as long as we can.
